Ronnie Renner is taking his pursuit of freestyle motocross big air from Southern California to the Windy City. Last summer, Renner established the Guinness world record for the highest jump on a motorcycle on a quarter pipe, reaching 59 feet, 2 inches at the Santa Monica pier. Tonight in Chicago, Renner’s ramps are a few feet taller than last year because he wants to obliterate his record. “I don’t want to beat it by inches. I definitely want to beat it by feet,” he said. “A significant amount would be nice. Now I have a bar set that I have to beat or else it’s a failure.” The Associated Press
