COLORADO SPRINGS — “Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer is expected to attend the parole hearing this week for a man serving a life sentence for killing Grammer’s sister in 1975.

Karen Grammer, 18, was abducted July 1, 1975, outside a Red Lobster restaurant after an attempted robbery. She was raped and stabbed in the throat and back.

Freddie Glenn, 52, is eligible for parole.

A Department of Corrections spokeswoman said Grammer plans to attend Monday’s hearing at the Limon Correctional Facility. Colorado no longer allows parole for those serving life terms for first-degree murder, but the change was made after Glenn’s conviction. The Gazette
