Southbound Interstate 25 was closed for more than an hour after a crash involving at least seven cars near the Tejon Street exit.

One person was airlifted to a Denver hospital with severe burns after a recreational vehicle hit a signpost and burst into flames. Other drivers saw that the Winnebago driver was trapped and were able to pull him from the burning vehicle.
