One person is dead and another in serious condition after gunfire erupted early this morning at a Colorado Springs apartment complex.
Neighbors at the Greentree Village Apartments called police at 12:03 a.m. to report a fight at the complex. Several said they heard gunshots.
“When officers arrived, they found several people inside the apartment. One person was declared dead at the scene,” according to a police release.
The wounded person was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
