As the youngest driver in NASCAR’S Sprint Cup circuit, Joey Logano is finding it hard to fit in with veterans who are sometimes more than twice his age. He is a teenager, after all. “I’m a little bit of the outcast,” Logano, 19, said recently of the nights hanging out in the motorcoach lot at racetracks with the rest of the drivers. “A lot of them, at night, people play poker or something like that. What am I going to do? ‘Let’s play putt-putt, let’s play some video games.’ It’s different for me.” After starting at the back of the pack in Sunday’s Brickyard 400, Logano finished 12th.
