A huge success

The ninth Colorado Dragon Boat Festival, which brought 100,000-plus spectators to Sloan’s Lake Park on Saturday and Sunday, got off to a festive start with Friday’s Hawaiian-themed VIP party that offered food, entertainment and a salute to those who helped make the festival a resounding success.


Meeting a need

The night before she addressed a crowd of 1,800 at Project CURE’s annual First Ladies Luncheon, Ernestina Naadu Mills, first lady of Ghana, met the humanitarian agency’s top-level supporters at a reception held at a Cherry Hills Village home. The nonprofit Project CURE sends medical supplies to poverty-torn nations around the world.
