Two men have been arrested in connection with a fight late Monday that left one man dead in Northglenn.
In custody are Elrick Wayne Gilman, 30, and Nicholas Adam Smiley, 25, both of Northglenn.
According to police, the fight took place in the 11600 block of Grant Street at about 11:47 p.m. Monday and claimed the life of the 29-year-old victim.
Witnesses told officers that the victim was in a physical altercation with two to three men. Officers were able to contact Gilman and Smiley a short time later.
Investigators say that two women, who also were injured in the altercation, were treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and released.
Gilman and Smiley are currently being held for investigation of second-degree murder.
They are being held at the Adams County Detention Facility.
