Four people were reported shot late Tuesday night in the town of Clifton in Mesa County.
The assault happened at 458 Mae St. in Clifton at about 10:40 p.m., Grand Junction TV stations reported on their websites. They said two suspects had been detained and four people taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
A spokeswoman for the Mesa County Sheriff’s office said she was enroute to Clifton at 11 p.m. but was not immediately available for comment afterward.
Police dogs and officers from several agencies were reportedly searching the area near the home.
Clifton is an unincorporated community of about 18,000 just east of Grand Junction.
