An armed robber never made out of the Game Stop store in Lone Tree on Monday night before police showed up.
A friend of an employee called police after arriving at the store at about 9 p.m. and seeing a clerk and an apparent robber inside, police said.
When police arrived, Eric Ryan Norris, 27, armed with a pellet pistol, obeyed an order to put down the weapon, come out of the store and surrender, police said.
He remained in the Douglas County Detention Center on Tuesday on $100,000 bail.
