The nurse fired from two area hospitals after allegedly stealing drugs has had her nursing license suspended by the state for lying on her nursing application and acting in a way that puts a person in danger, a source close to the investigation told 9Wants to Know.
“It’s the most severe action a regulatory board in Colorado can take,” said Chris Lines of the Department of Regulatory Agencies.
Jillian Fischer was suspended Tuesday, a day after charged against her were formally filed.
She had been fired from Swedish Medical Center and later St. Anthony Central Hospital.
