The National Button Society celebrates its 71st anniversary this year with a three-day Denver convention Thursday through Aug. 8. The button showroom, featuring dealers from across the country and abroad, and select workshops, will be open to the general public. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Crowne Plaza DIA Convention Center, 15500 E. 40th Ave. Registration is $8 a day for adults; children under age 17 admitted free with a paying adult.
