Carlos Gonzalez has some new stats to go with his new look. He got a faux-hawk haircut in New York, and he has been raking ever since. Starting his third consecutive game in center field, Gonzalez went 3-for-3 and helped set up the go-ahead run in the 11th with a sacrifice bunt. He is 6-for-9 on the trip.
“I wanted to shake it up. I am superstitious, so I will keep the look,” he said.

Garrett Atkins legged out an infield hit to drive in the Rockies’ final run, beating out Alex Gonzalez’s throw. “He didn’t know who was running,” Atkins said with a grin.
