PAONIA — A garage fire on Thursday destroyed both of Paonia’s ambulances.
Emergency responders had to borrow an ambulance from a nearby town to make sure the western Colorado town is covered.
The ambulances were part of the volunteer North Fork Ambulance Association, which also serves Crawford and Hotchkiss.
