An 11-week-old Lafayette baby hospitalized last month with life-threatening injuries, allegedly the result of abuse, left a hospital Monday after showing he can breathe and eat without machines, a family member said.
A “cocoon of love” surrounded Jack Koller as he was carried out of the Children’s Hospital in Aurora and placed in a car seat to go home with his grandmother, who has temporary custody of him, said Jack’s great-aunt, Susan Beste.
