FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A health care reform rally in a Fort Collins park ended with a confrontation with a protester and a photographer saying he had his camera pushed in his face.

Video from the rally Tuesday by Denver’s KMGH-TV shows Kathy Partridge of Longmont, who spoke at the rally, trying to talk to a woman protesting President Barack Obama’s health care plan. The protester, who wouldn’t give her name, kept her sign in front of her face.

Photographer Michael Seamans of the (Fort Collins) Coloradoan says Partridge’s husband, Ira Chernus, told him he couldn’t photograph the incident and pushed his camera in his face.

Chenus is a religious studies professor at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He said in an e-mail to the Coloradoan that any physical contact with Seamans was accidental.
