Today and Sunday. The 19th annual Rocky Mountain Folks Festival continues in Lyons and offers plenty for parents and kiddos alike. In addition to such headlining acts as Susan Tedeschi, JJ Grey and Mofro, M. Ward, Gillian Welch and many more, the event includes plenty to attract kids, such as swimming in the St. Vrain River, or making crafts and painting faces in the kids tent. Even better: kids 12 and under get in free. The festival runs daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Camping passes are available. Details at folks , or call 800-624-2422.

Today. Live music will overtake Skyline Park in downtown Denver today during SunStock 2009 — The fourth annual Unknownfest. Look for performances by The Dendrites, Katey Laurel, Rob Drabkin Band, Jaden, a Melodic Daydream, The Hippogriffs, Dear Marsha, Ground Up, Dave Tamkin, and the Julia Bryan Band, along with vendors, artisans and concessions. The event is also a fundraiser for the Rocky Mountain Rett Association. Rett syndrome is a debilitating neurological disorder. The festival is from noon until 10 p.m. Skyline Park is located on the 16th Street Mall at Arapahoe Street. Admission is free.
