LARKSPUR — A woman identified as Linda Flatland was killed Thursday night in a freak accident at a home in the 1000 block of Yarnell Drive in Larkspur.
Cocha Heyden, spokeswoman for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, said deputies were called to the home about 8:37 p.m. Thursday.
The initial investigation indicates the 57-year-old’s car was parked on the steep driveway and that the brake was not set properly, causing the car to roll down the driveway, Heyden said.
Flatland, who had been standing next to the car, was snagged by the vehicle and dragged down the incline.
