BAILEY, Colo.—The Colorado State Patrol says a man has died and a 5-year-old girl was seriously injured in a two-car accident on Kenosha Pass.
The patrol says the crash Sunday afternoon killed 34-year-old Angshuman Chakraborty of Highlands Ranch when his car struck a trailer being towed by another vehicle on U.S. Highway 285.
Trooper David Hall says he believes the injured girl is Chakraborty’s daughter and that a second passenger is Chakraborty’s wife, 35-year-old Paramita Chakraborty.
The patrol says the girl was airlifted to a hospital and that Paramita Chakraborty suffered minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle towing the trailer wasn’t injured.
