Summer has another month to go, but for students, the season is drawing to a close. Reflecting on summer, and looking ahead, Jack Stone of Englewood, winner of The Denver Post’s $25 Haiku contest, wrote this about school:

I hit the baseball,

Hit the road, hit my brother.
