AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Chrysler Group LLC said Wednesday it is dropping its lifetime power-train warranty in favor of a five-year, 100,000-mile guarantee.
Chrysler spokesman Rick Deneau said market research shows consumers prefer warranties with a fixed time period.
