Scott Warner was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and started playing tennis at age 8 in junior tournaments. He graduated from Nevada-Las Vegas as a collegiate All-America tennis player and was the first Hall of Fame tennis inductee at UNLV. He was on the ATP tour for five years and was ranked in the top 100. He won the longest final-round qualifying match in Wimbledon history in 1989 in the fifth set, 28-26. He now gives private lessons.
