But he kept another impressive streak alive, driving in a run for the fifth consecutive game and the eighth time in nine games. His fifth-inning bloop double gave him as many RBIs on the road trip (six) as he had in June and July combined.

With the Rockies scheduled to face left-handers Jonathan Sanchez, Clayton Kershaw and Randy Wolf during the homestand, Ryan Spilborghs was in the lineup Thursday to shake off the rust. Spilborghs, who singled in the third, will likely start against the lefties.
