BOULDER, Colo.—Authorities say a single-engine plane lost power and made a rough landing in a Boulder park, but neither the 19-year-old pilot nor her passenger was injured.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Department says the 1941 Taylorcraft was heavily damaged when it landed in Boulder open space Friday.

Deputies say the plane was flown by Morgan Araldi, a licensed pilot, and her father-in-law, Alan Mainaro, who owns the plane.

Authorities say the plane’s landing gear, propeller and struts had about $14,000 in damage.
