Film in Aspen

Aspen Filmfest, Sept. 30- Oct. 4, showcases award-winning features and documentaries. Also, there are previews of new fall releases and guest appearances. Although the full program will not be announced until Labor Day weekend, the film festival has announced three award-winning titles: Lee Daniel’s “Precious,” Lone Scherfig’s British import “An Education,” and Kristopher Belman’s “More Than a Game.” Aspen Filmfest will be held at the Wheeler Opera House and the Isis Theater in Aspen, as well as at the Crystal Theater in Carbondale.
