Federal and local authorities swooped down on an area of the Pike National Forest on Friday and raided a pot farm, removing plants that will be destroyed.
The West Metro Drug Task Force assisted the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and U.S. Forest Service in the operation, said Jefferson County Sheriff’s spokesman Jim Shires.
He referred a call for information about the bust to the federal agencies.
