A report that Brett Favre’s presence had caused a “schism” in the Minnesota Vikings’ locker room over who should start at quarterback has caused mixed reactions — and confusion — among players. Punter Chris Kluwe suggested there was a “schism in the camera crew,” while Favre said: “I’m not worried about that. That’s for you guys to have some fun with. Once again, I have no idea what that means. I’m assuming it’s controversial.” Then there was defensive lineman Jared Allen, who offered this gem: “At first I thought schism was an STD, and I was like, ‘Whoa! we practice abstinence here.’ ” Denver Post wire services
