The Daniels Fund on Thursday announced $7 million in grants to several organizations serving seniors, youths and the homeless.
“Nonprofit organizations offer a lifeline of support to individuals and families by offering education, housing, food and other vital services,” said Linda Childears, president and chief executive of the Daniels Fund. “They are facing increasing demand and decreasing resources as a result of the struggling economy and are in need of everyone’s support.”
