WELLS FARGO: Named Tim McDonald, a 24-year mortgage-industry veteran, national program manager for the senior- products group. McDonald has worked for Wells Fargo since 1994 and served in numerous roles for the mortgage division.

GRAEBEL COS. INC.: Appointed Tim Callahan as chief operating officer of all divisions. Most recently, Callahan was senior vice president of global sales and marketing at Sirva.

PAYTECH: Hired Valerie Parsons as controller.

MEDVOY: Appointed Dr. Arlen Meyers as chief medical officer; John Baumgarten as vice president for sales and marketing; and Tracy Nicholas as director of marketing and business development.

HUMANE SOCIETY OF BOULDER VALLEY: Hired Kim Sporrer as director of communications.

COLORADO JUDICIAL INSTITUTE: Announced the recipients of the 2009 Judicial Excellence Awards: Judge James H. Hiatt, recently retired from the 8th Judicial District (Jackson and Larimer counties); Judge Doris Burd of the Denver County Court; and Magistrate Brian N. Bowen of the 17th Judicial District (Adams and Broomfield counties).

LUCA TECHNOLOGIES: Announced the appointment of William R. Mahaffey as chief scientific officer.

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF COLORADO INC.: Elected Steven Sommers, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, and Paul Washington, LJS Holdings, to the board of directors; the Aurora/Montbello Community Resource Board elected Dr. Timothy J. Bernard, assistant professor, University of Colorado at Denver.
