NASCAR star Tony Stewart expects to one day be trading paint with Danica Patrick, saying he has no doubts she will eventually make the jump to stock cars. “I just know that she’s excited about this and making this change,” Stewart said. “I can pretty much guarantee at some point she’s going to be over here. She’s looked me straight in the eye and said, ‘Hey, this is what I want to do.’ ” reported Saturday night that Patrick isn’t ready to give up IndyCar racing just yet, but that she plans to run a significant number of Nationwide races, with additional seat time in Trucks and ARCA cars, next year.
