After a nice catch on a 43-yard pass to get to the CU 4-yard line, Rams receiver Ryan Gardner spiked the ball, drawing a penalty. Suddenly, CSU was back at the 19 and four plays later settled for a 29-yard field goal.
Drop:
With an over-the-shoulder pass put in the perfect spot on a 40-yard toss, CSU receiver Rashaun Greer dropped the ball (left) at the CU 35-yard line with no one between him and the end zone in the second quarter.
Touches:
CU receiver Scotty McKnight had a tough game after the catch. He was hit on a first-quarter pass, and the ball was intercepted by Elijah-Blu Smith. Then, McKnight was blasted by Smith after a third-quarter catch, and his fumble was recovered by CSU.
