Authorities are looking for an 83-year-old Eaton woman who disappeared on her way to visit a hospitalized relative.
Basilisa Ayala was driving a white 2002 Oldsmobile Alero when she left her home about 4:30 p.m. Saturday headed for the North Colorado Medical Center, in Greeley.
Ayala, in the early stages of dementia, never arrived at the hospital.
Her car, with Colorado license plate number 866-LRJ, was last seen weaving slowly south on Weld County Road 49 at 5:18 p.m.
Ayala was wearing a knitted white beanie cap, pink slacks, and a blouse and vest. She is 5 feet tall, approximately 150 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who has seen the vehicle or Ayala should call local law enforcement or the Weld County Sheriff’s Office at 970-356-4015.
