Cyclists from across the Rockies are set to converge on Copper Mountain for two of the most prestigious road riding events of the season Saturday and Sunday.
The Copper Twilight Crits roll through the village all day and into the night Saturday while the Copper Mountain Time Trial blazes from the Burning Stones Plaza to Vail Pass in Sunday’s USA Cycling Colorado State Championships.
Recreational riders can take part in the Copper Mountain Rec Path Poker Ride on both days, where participants turn in winning hands for ski season passes at Copper and Winter Park, free winter lodging packages, lift tickets and other prizes. Volunteers receive one Copper lift ticket for each day of volunteering.
