Authorities located an 83-year-old Eaton woman Monday after she disappeared Saturday on her way to visit a hospitalized relative.
Basilisa Ayala, in the early stages of dementia, never arrived at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
A farmer found Ayala’s car in rural Washington County and alerted authorities Monday.
She was found a short time later about half a mile from the vehicle. She was suffering from dehydration but appeared to have no serious injuries.
