Adapted from “Stonewall Kitchen Breakfast,” by Jonathan King, Jim Stott & Kathy Gunst (Chronicle). Use organic frozen or fresh berries.
Ingredients
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
1/4 cup blackberries
1/4 cup low-fat milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 to 2 fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Directions
Place all the ingredients except the mint leaves in the blender and blend until thick and smooth. Serve with mint leaves.
