A 2007 Air Force Academy graduate has died after his vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb in Iraq.
Defense Department officials said 24-year-old 1st Lt. Joseph Helton of Monroe, Ga., died Tuesday in the explosion near Baghdad. Academy officials said Helton is the 11th graduate killed while serving in Iraq.
