An Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputy arrested a young couple early Thursday in connection with a string of smash-and-grab burglaries at hair, nail and tanning salons this week.
Michael Christopher Lowry, 22, and Lauren Anne Polzine, 20, were arrested as a result of stepped-up patrols after the nine break-ins late Sunday and early Monday. The couple could be implicated in as many as 19 recent commercial break-ins, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Lowry and Polzine face charges of burglary, theft, criminal mischief, possession of burglary tools and possession of a controlled substance.
Both are in the Arapahoe County Detention Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail each.
