Leah Rochelle Miller, 45, of Denver died Thursday morning from injuries she suffered in a car crash Wednesday evening, devastating the staff of the large Denver law firm where she worked.
She had been a legal secretary at Holme, Roberts & Owen since 2006, after it merged with the law firm of Musgrave & Theis, where she was employed for many years.
Daniel Quillen, spokesman for the firm, said Miller is survived by a teenage son, a large extended family and many close friends.
Miller was fatally injured when the driver of a GMC Sonoma went through a stop sign at East 26th Avenue and Magnolia Street about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and hit Miller’s Toyota Camry, which was going west on East 26th, police said.
The driver of the GMC, a man in his 30s, has not been named by police. He was taken to a hospital after the crash.
