JUNCTION CITY, Kan.—Kansas authorities are searching for a possible suspect in a Colorado homicide.

Geary County deputies began pursuing the suspect after learning that the vehicle he is accused of driving had been stolen in Greeley, Colo. During the pursuit, the suspect reportedly wrecked his vehicle southeast of Junction City and fled on foot.

The Kansas Attorney General’s Office identified the suspect as 23-year-old Jesse Dennis Dimmick and said he may be connected to a possible drug-related homicide that happened late Wednesday or early Thursday in Aurora, Colo. No details about the homicide were provided.

Authorities are warning people in southeast Geary County and neighboring counties to make sure their vehicles are secure. They say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
