Silent no more, Kevin Smith and his Silent Bob character are coming to Denver for a “conversation” that will rely on audience participation.
Kevin Smith is coming to a Denver rock club in November, but he’s not coming to lecture or rant. It’s not stand-up comedy, either.
The writer/actor/director who blew up the indie film world with “Clerks” and “Mallrats” is coming to Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium for a conversation. That’s right, a conversation, so that means you, dear audience, had better come equipped with questions and curiosities.
The night is being billed as “Silent Bob Speaks,” a play off his character from the aforementioned films. (Silent Bob was predictably silent throughout each movie … until he would unleash some wisdom, using brevity of course, on his fellow characters.) Smith was in Vail earlier this year for the Vail Film Festival.

Smith will take the Fillmore stage on Nov. 21. Tickets, $35-$55, go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at livenation.com or 877-598-6659.
