Theory holds that September includes the most dramatic changes in the Earth’s tilt as the northern hemisphere ramps up to the autumnal equinox. So it’s just in the nick of time that Revo, the legacy eyewear brand, is reintroduced before the fall sun angles become too much to bear.
The brand was launched in 1985, incorporating space shuttle technology into its sunglasses. Its current eyewear features Polarcast polarized designs in a variety of frames. Lenses are made of impact-resistant material coated to block rays and shed the elements. The Revo Red Point (MSRP: $190) is among five unisex frames that also incorporates the company’s Re-Use technology, which includes 100 percent recycled preconsumer nylon plastic to make them as easy on the environment as they are on the eyes.
