GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Two Grand Junction churches were broken into over the weekend, and police think the same burglars may be responsible in both cases.
Lighthouse Christian Center was burglarized on Friday, and a break-in at Unity Church was discovered Saturday. The churches are about three blocks apart.
A tuxedo and a laptop were taken from Unity Church. Police were still compiling a complete list of what was taken from both.
Police Sgt. Jim Creasy says there were signs of forced entry at both churches but the damage was minimal.
