A dump truck driver was killed in a rollover crash in Eagle County this afternoon.
His name has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The Peterbilt dump truck rolled over and skidded into the trees along U.S. 6 at Squaw Creek Road about two miles west of Edwards, said Trooper John Hahn.
The truck was apparently going too fast to navigate the curve to the left in the road, he said. The accident happened at 1:20 p.m.
