LONGMONT, Colo.—A Fort Collins high school counselor has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting teens and children while working at a Longmont church.

Longmont Police Cmdr. Tim Lewis says 39-year-old Bradley Boda was arrested Wednesday at his parents’ home in Greeley. Police say he is suspected of sexually assaulting more than four children.

Boda was being held in Boulder County jail on $50,000 bond.

Police believe he used his position as a volunteer and youth director at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Longmont to gain access to boys as young as 11, according to the arrest affidavit. Police say church officials confirmed that Boda volunteered or worked at the church from 1991 until 2004.

Boda has been placed on leave from his job as a guidance counselor at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, where he has worked since 2000.
