An armed robbery on South Gaylord Street in Denver this afternoon left an elderly woman without her car, police said.
The robbery just before 2 p.m. happened in the 300 block of South Gaylord Street. The man fled in the woman’s green 1998 Subaru Legacy, which has a Colorado license plate of BKD-335.
The robber was described as black, in his 30s, between 5 feet, 8 inches and 6 feet, 2 inches tall with a thin build. The woman said he was clean-shaven, and he had a long, thin face and short black hair. He wore a snap-up dark blue jacket, as well as dark pants and shoes.
