Denver police have identified a home-robbery suspect who fled after stealing a van by force Friday morning. Donald Oliver, 43, is being held for investigation of aggravated robbery, police said. Oliver also is being held on a warrant for escape from a local halfway house Sunday.
About 10 a.m. Friday, police were called to an attempted home robbery in the 900 block of South High Street, said Leslie Branch-Wise, a police spokeswoman. Oliver ran and then stole a nearby van by force, she said. Kieran Nicholson, The Denver Post
