The Colorado Eagles on Monday signed two rookie players to their roster before the Central Hockey League season starts Oct. 16, adding defenseman Baylor Dieter and goaltender Doug Raeder.
Dieter played for Minnesota State last season. Raeder arrives from Middlebury College.

University of Denver men’s soccer goalkeeper Joe Willis was tabbed the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation player of the week after allowing one goal in two games over the weekend. Willis made 10 saves in a shutout victory over No. 24 Cal State-Northridge on Friday.
