SAN FRANCISCO — The brothers of kidnapping suspect Nancy Garrido say their sister is cooperating with authorities in the abduction of a California woman who resurfaced 18 years after she was snatched off the street as a child.
Garrido and her husband, Phillip, have been charged with kidnapping Jaycee Dugard in 1991 and keeping her hidden in the backyard of an Antioch home. Nancy Garrido’s brothers, David and Rey Bocanegra, said in a television interview on “Inside Edition” on Monday that they think their sister was brainwashed by her husband.
