A Denver man has been charged with multiple felony counts after an incident in which he is accused of injuring three police officers.
Leroy Delphie, 25, faces assault charges of vehicular assault, menacing and child abuse, among other charges, according to the Denver District Attorney’s Office.
The incident happened Saturday near West 13th Avenue and Perry Street, according to a news release from the DA’s office.
Prosecutors say Delphie, attempting to flee a domestic-violence scene, tried to ram officers with his car and then fought with police as he was being taken into custody.
Delphie is being held at the Denver County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in court Friday.
