Getting your player ready...
LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says his 23rd-ranked Cornhuskers have an elevated sense of urgency as they begin preparing for their Big 12 opener against Missouri.
The Huskers practiced for two hours in the Hawks Championship Center on Wednesday. Pelini said it was a “good, crisp practice.”
Pelini said the team concentrated on fundamentals and technique. He said the Huskers won’t begin turning their full attention to the Oct. 8 game at Missouri until Saturday.
Nebraska will practice on Thursday and take Friday off.
