BOULDER — A bottle of sweetened coffee creamer with the word “anthrax” printed on it prompted a phalanx of emergency officials to swarm the Boulder County Recycling Center on Friday, the Camera reported.
Hazardous-materials crews from the Boulder Fire Department, Boulder County Public Health and the Army and Air National Guard responded to the center at 1901 63rd St. after an inmate on a sorting crew found a tightly sealed glass bottle with white pellets inside and the word “anthrax” printed on it.
Officials tested the contents and ruled out any hazard.
